In 2006 John Hardy founded Hardy Reed with partner, Scott Reed. He is a firm principal and president today. He began his investment career in 1982 when he joined Chandler Securities in Columbus, Mississippi before moving to the J.J.B Hilliard, W.L. Lyon, Inc., brokerage firm where he met his present-day partner, Scott Reed. In 2000 John completed the Securities Industry Institute program, sponsored by the Securities Industry Association and The Wharton School of Business.
